We provide investment counsel to private clients, corporations, trusts, and foundations. Our purpose is to serve as a client's chief investment officer and trusted lifetime partner. About Ian McAbeer
Blackhaw Wealth Management was founded by Ian McAbeer, CFA, the firm's President and Chief Investment Officer. Ian is responsible for all research and investment activities including strategic wealth planning, portfolio management, risk management, and performance reporting.
Ian founded Blackhaw with an unwavering commitment to do what is right for his clients. This commitment includes superior standards of practice as demonstrated by the following:

Prior to founding Blackhaw, Ian was the Director of Research and Investment Management for a family office investment company and private foundation, where he was responsible for investment research and analysis. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas (UT) at Austin, with a concentration in finance and a specialization in investment management and security analysis. While at UT, he served as a Portfolio Manager to The MBA Investment Fund, LLC, a private investment company, and as a member of the Venture Capital Fellows.
